Excellent opportunity for an experienced Financial Manager to steer the company’s finance team. Your strong manufacturing experience will come in very handy. You will also have the chance to mentor a strong, young and ambitious group of people. The role is based in the Boland region of the Western Cape and the incumbent will be required to reside in the area.

Minimum 5-6 years as a Financial Manager

Strong manufacturing and costing experience



Job Description:

Manage the full financial function, including (but not limited to):

Weekly cash flow preparation and cash management and debtor management.

Prepare monthly income and balance sheet statements and financial packs for Board Exco meeting.

Preparation of monthly Exco decks for Exco meetings.

Prepare all monthly balance sheet reconciliations.

Prepare all monthly supporting schedules.

Liaising with group auditors and ensuring all audit files have been compiled.

Review VAT and EMP201 returns before submissions.

Managing the tax compliance in conjunction with the company’s tax advisors.

Overseeing all BEE compliance.

Compile annual budgeting and forecasting schedules.

Implementation and management of internal control systems and new processes to provide greater efficiency and insight.

Provide financial support to the CEO in respect of new ventures and other general financial matters.
