This is an amazing opportunity to join an international financial services concern as a Financial Manager and gain some much needed commercial experience. You will report directly to the CFO and be responsible for a small finance team.



Qualification:

CA(SA) or eligible to register – non negotiable



Skills & Experience:

Articles / post-articles experience in the financial services sector will be advantageous

Proficient at working in MS Office (good MS Excel skills are essential)

Good IFRS knowledge



Job Description:

Monthly financial accounting and management reporting.

Obtaining information from internal and external systems for preparation of month end journals.

Completion of monthly management reporting packs in Excel, including budgetary monitoring.

Forex calculations at month end.

Assisting with the audit.

Assisting with monthly payroll procedures.

Liaising with suppliers, banks, and other companies within the group.

The candidate may be called upon to assist with the financial management activities of associated local and international companies.

Ad hoc tasks relevant to the role.

People Management, with the ability to manage a small finance team.
