Great opportunity for a Financial Manager ready to take on their next challenge. Work closely with the CEO and oversee the entire finance function. The role is operational and hands-on. The environment is not corporate and the incumbent will need to be comfortable dealing with issues in the factory.

CA(SA) – non negotiable



Skills & Experience:

Minimum 5 - 8 years’ in a similar environment

Strong manufacturing and costing experience

Ability to manage a medium sized team



Job Description:

Manage the full financial function, including (but not limited to) weekly cash flow preparation and cash management and debtor management.

Prepare monthly income and balance sheet statements and financial packs for Board Exco meeting.

Preparation of monthly Exco decks for Exco meetings.

Prepare all monthly balance sheet reconciliations.

Prepare all monthly supporting schedules.

Liaising with group auditors and ensuring all audit files have been compiled.

Review VAT and EMP201 returns before submissions.

Managing the tax compliance in conjunction with the company’s tax advisers.

Overseeing all BEE compliance.

Compile annual budgeting and forecasting schedules.

Implementation and management of internal control systems and new processes to provide greater efficiency and insight.

Provide financial support to the CEO in respect of new ventures and other general financial matters.
