Duties and responsibilities:

• Bookkeeping
• Consolidated monthly reporting for the Group holding company
• Monthly reporting for Cobol – operating lending entity
• Review/oversight of book keeping of other entities
• Treasury
• Managing cash flow between companies / shareholders, and cash flow forecasting
• Invoicing entities for head office services
• Tax structuring
• Foreign exchange control compliance
• Currency management and hedging
• Payments
• Bill payments
• Payroll management and execution
• Analysis
• Profitability calculations
• Marginal cost analyses
• Debt raising
• Build relationships for with existing and potential creditors
• Manage loan facilities
• Selected operational involvement
• Identify cost-saving opportunities in the group
• Branch visits and selected involvement in lending businesses
• Getting involved with expansion opportunities / due diligences
• Audit portfolio companies
• Oversight of Zambian internal audit team
• Selected audit functions in SA and Tanzanian businesses

Requirements:

• Degree in accounting
• Experience as a financial manager of at least 8 years
• Solid auditing experience, managing an international team
• Able to work in Stellenbosch
• South-African citizens only
