Financial Manager

Minimum requirements for the role:
Must have a CA or CIMA or related qualification.
Minimum 3 years’ post article experience in a Financial Management role.
Previous experience within a similar position is preferred.
Must have good leadership skills, be a team player and have the ability to work independently.
The ability to communicate fluently both in English and Afrikaans.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Managing the monthly closing process along with the preparation of quarterly and monthly financial statements and management reports.
Preparing and reviewing of the annual tax return as well as preparing annual taxation calculations including deferred tax for all subsidiaries.
Performing annual audits.
Reviewing all subsidiary monthly creditor files, fleet and credit cards.
Performing costing procedures and managing the company expenses.
Assisting in the ad-hoc financial and management exercises.
Compiling invoices and monthly customer statements.
Balancing monthly stock take.
Supporting management in the development of annual operating budgets and annual financial and business plans.
Managing full debtors and creditors function.
Submitting monthly VAT reconciliations as well as processing monthly journals.
Completing SARS Audits as required.
Reconciling the cashbooks and general ledger.

Salary package is highly negotiable depending on experience gained
