A fantastic opportunity has presented itself at a leading manufacturing company that has international ties. A strong and competent Financial Manager is sought after and will be reporting to the Divisional Managing Director and an indirect report in Johannesburg.



Qualification:

Bachelors Accounting degree and Accounting (Hons)

Completed articles at a reputable audit firm

Registered CA(SA) or completed CIMA will be a definite advantage



Skills & Experience:

Minimum 2 - 3 years post articles experience

Manufacturing and or FMCG experience

Very strong technical knowledge of IFRS, SYSPRO, SAGE 3, MS Excel, Microsoft Dynamic X or SAP B1

Willingness to travel to Headquarters in Johannesburg from time to time

Strong communication skills at all levels within the business



Job Description:

Monthly Financial Reporting: Ensure timeous and accurate full monthly financial reporting for three business entities and consolidation.

Ensure financial reports and packs are presented to the HUDACO group timeously.

Cost Accounting: Ensure that the standard costing system is correctly maintained on SYSPRO ERP.

Management of BOMS with the assistance from the Cost Accountant.

Quarter and Year End: Work closely with the MD to ensure an accurate budgeting and forecasting for the business and reporting entities.

Preparation of three HUDACO packs and consolidations at financial year end.

Risk Management: Be responsible for the company’s insurance portfolio to ensure minimal risk.

Internal Control: Ensure that all internal controls are well documented and communicated to the business.

IT Strategy: Responsible for managing the IT infrastructure inclusive of the SYSPRO ERP system.

Company secretarial duties, Adhoc projects and Staff Management.
