Omnia offers a challenging position for a Financial Manager who will work closely with the Financial Director on all operational and strategic aspects of the business. The successful incumbent will provide strategic business support in addition to managing the finance function and implementing systems and controls around financial reporting, risk management and operational performance. The incumbent will work in the Fertilizer RSA Division.

Responsibilities:

? Ensure financial discipline throughout the Division
? Planning, directing and co-ordinating of internal & external audits
? Budgeting, analysing and reporting financial accounting data
? Reporting tax (IFRS, Tax Regulations) and ensuring compliance with tax legislation, group policies and procedures
? Establishing financial controls and approving expenditure
? Reviewing performance against business plan
? Assess future business needs and opportunities
? Prepare, review and disseminate monthly management accounts
? Manage the professional finance team
? Manage relationships and interfaces with the Group office, Divisional business units and sister Divisions
? Maintain sound corporate governance

Requirements:

? CA(SA) qualification or equivalent
? Previous experience in managing a professional finance team
? A minimum of 3 years’ experience at a similar management level
? In-depth knowledge of financial principles and processes
? Good understanding of relevant legislation
? Solid understanding of core business principles and processes
? Good knowledge of manufacturing environment
? Exceptional communication skills
? Strong conflict management skills
? Highly computer literate

A competitive remuneration package in line with qualifications and experience will be negotiated.
