Our client within the media and broadcasting space seeks to appoint a Financial Modeller (Reporting). The applicant must be a dynamic, system and figure orientated person who will take up responsibility for development and implementation of financial analysis and finance related systems projects. Candide must be extremely analytic and must have dealt with financial models.

To develop, deliver and implement financial models and financial modelling tools
Support the planning, monitoring and management of the budget and forecast processes
To work autonomously in building, populating and using financial models for projects
Responsible for ensuring the availability and adequacy of data to be used in models is of sufficient quality by establishing procedures for collecting and manipulating information and building in appropriate checks and controls.
To be responsible for providing good quality, timely financial modelling advice to other professional groups, in a way that non specialists can readily understand.
To create an understanding of the context and application of financial modelling tools and techniques
To demonstrate and maintain a reputation for excellence in building models and designing modelling activities.
Must be able to extract data and provide meaningful analyses to business
To work collaboratively across multi-functional teams
Proactive management of internal and external relationships.
Ad hoc projects and requests

Requirements:
Finance qualification
SAP/Hyperion experience
Audit articles from a smaller firm will be an advantage
An in-depth understanding of financial modelling and a working knowledge of accounting
Minimum 5 years’ experience of designing, building and populating financial models
2 years project management experience
Extensive experience in using financial modelling tools
Strong computer literacy, with specific reference to financial systems
