RedCat Recruitment is seeking a FINANCIAL PLANNING ASSISTANT (6 MONTH CONTRACT WITH A POSSIBILITY OF EXTENSION) for a Pietermaritzburg concern.

The person will be required to support the Financial Planning Partner(s) in providing high levels of client services to our clients, as well as to the region as a whole. The incumbent takes responsibility for overseeing the administrative, operations and client services support to the Financial Planning Partner and is the liaison person between the practice and the regional office / head office.

JOB DESCRIPTION / REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Qualification in investments / financial planning / business management would be an advantage.
5yrs+ previous experience in the financial planning services industry.
FAIS and FICA knowledge is required.
Valid driver’s license.
Computer literate (MS Office, Email / Internet). xPlan would be an added advantage.
2-4 years’ experience in a client services environment.
Client services.
Operational support (client records, transition and commission flows, new business and commission flows, general office management).
Marketing support.
Office management.
Person must currently reside in Pietermaritzburg.

Salary offered: R6 000-00 – R11 000-00 per month (depending on previous industry experience and qualifications), no benefits offered.
