A very well known Property Company is looking for a Financial Reporting Accountant to produce financial reports to Group shareholders and stakeholders in order to motivate investment and meet regulatory and legislative requirements.Key Performance Areas (KPA’s)To prepare interim and financial year end reportsTo produce and analyse monthly management accountsTo prepare the consolidated Group financial statementsTo assist in the preparation of quarterly board packs and audit committee information/packsTo assist in the preparation of the integrated annual reportTo assist in the preparation of analyst presentationsTo prepare information required by analystsTo prepare financial statements of subsidiary companies including wind-up and deregistration of dormant subsidiary companiesTo deal with technical IFRS issues and review and recommend accounting policies as requiredTo provide technical accounting advice to the business where necessaryTo liaise with external auditorsTo prepare annual tax computations (including annual and provisional tax returns) for the GroupPreparation and analysis of the annual budget and quarterly forecastingTo analyze competitor statistics and trendsTo ensure that all administrative duties associated with the role is completed as per legislative requirements and internal proceduresThe above duties are the main duties required to be successful in this role, however, the employee can be requested to perform other duties and responsibilities from time to time during his/her employment with the company, based on its operational requirements.
