An amazing opportunity exists for a Financial Services Paralegal with a min 2-3 yrs' related experience. Paralegal experience within the law industry / financial services (ideally). Relevant qualification / commerce qualification (advantageous). Ideal candidate must be exceptionally detail and accuracy orientated.

Job Description:

To assist with the foreign market opening process in offshore markets and provides support with respect to various legal documentation processes.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

Foreign Account Opening:

1.            Responsible for assisting with foreign account opening process

2.            Assist in the review and completion of all account opening documentation

3.            Sourcing various legal entity documentation required by the various markets to support account opening application

4.            Liaising with internal and external legal counsel

5.            Liaising with offshore custodians

6.            Responsible for the legalization of various documents by sourcing originals from internal parties and liaising with the Notary

7.            Responsible for assisting with documentation completion for foreign Proxy voting

8.            Completion of POA’s and resulting legalization

9.            Liaising with proxy voting vendor and custodians

10.          Adhoc

11.          Assisting on Adhoc re: with requests / queries within the team

 

 

 Ideal Experience:

 

1.            Minimum of 2-3 years related experience

2.            Paralegal experience within the law industry

3.            Paralegal experience with Financial Services

 

Ideal Qualifications:

 

Relevant qualification / Commerce qualification would be advantageous
