Our client, a market-leading global supply chain manager of agricultural and energy products, metals and minerals is headquarters in Hong Kong and operates from over 140 locations. They are currently looking for a Financial Trading Analyst responsible for the daily monitoring of performance of derivatives and physicals to ensure independency and accuracy in reporting.

Minimum requirements:

- Bachelors degree
- With finance/economics/risk management an advantage
- Preference will be given to individuals with good knowledge in derivative markets and/or risk management and exposure to the grain industry
- Minimum 3 years work experience

Job description:

- Daily monitoring of trading positions including derivatives and open contract positions.
- Daily reconciliation of trading positions with broker statements
- Daily reconciliation of new transactions
- Daily positional reporting to regional office
- Calculating daily Profit and Loss
- Daily Profit and Loss reporting to international product control desk
- Detail weekly analysis of Profit and Loss as per management requirements
- Detail monthly analysis of Profit and Loss as per management requirements
- Monthly reconciliation of daily profit and loss with monthly accounting profit and loss per commodity for accurate management reporting
- Monthly Soft Close
