We are currently looking for the excellent services of a Fitment Technician to be based at Phalaborwa.

The Fitment Technician will be responsible for performing work in the service/repair, fitment, installation and maintenance of all cameras, strobes and radio's; resolving immediate operational and/or safety concerns assisting other skilled Auto- Electricians.

Requirements:

- Grade 12
- Valid driver's license
- Minimum 2 years installation/Fitment experience at a Fitment Centre, which should include specialized Fleet Management and mobile installations
- Good knowledge of motor vehicle electric/ electronic systems.

Responsibility;

- The Fitment Technician performs service/fitment and/or installation of cameras, strobes, radios, safety belt systems.
- Evaluates, diagnoses, troubleshoots systems an perform repairs.
- Assists in the development of training programs.
- Performs upgrades and additions to systems.
- Coordinates with administration and other trades for the purpose of completing projects.
- Informs personnel regarding procedures and/or status of work orders for the purpose of providing necessary information and complying with health and safety regulations.
- The Fitment Technician prepares documentation in a variety of written electronic formats (e.g. daily paperwork/log time and materials, key and material records, key inventory, etc.) .
- Requests equipment and supplies for the purpose of maintaining inventory and ensuring availability of required items.
- Respond to emergency situations during or after hours for the purpose of resolving immediate safety/security concerns.
- Transports a variety of items (e.g. Tools, equipment, supplies, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring the availability of materials required at job site.
- Assists other trade personnel as may be required for the purpose of supporting in the completion of work activities
- Attends meetings, workshops, training and seminars for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information required to perform job functions.
- The Fitment Technician performs any other duties as required from the company.
