Leading International Lumber products producer requires a Fitter in Jessievale.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 certificate or N3 Fitting qualification


• Qualified Section 13 Fitter


• 3 Years relevant experience in lubrication, hydraulics, rolling elements, bearings and pneumatics


• Ability to work accurately and quickly


• Sawmilling experience will be an advantage


• Work effectively as a member of a team


• Work under pressure


• Knowledge of and applicable skills in plant maintenance , repair and installation of equipment


• Computer literacy at skilled level


• Ability to read technical specifications


• Valid Medical Fitness Certificate


• Valid code 8 driver’s license and own transport

Duties (including but not limited to):

• Carries out scheduled inspections and work


• Fixes faults as planned and identified


• Ensures that the correct spares, tools and equipment are available for planned work


• Liaises with production crews concerning faults, malfunctions, etc.


• Maintains sound housekeeping and safety practices

Applicant must reside in Jessievale or surrounding area.
