An experienced Machine Setter/Fitter & Turner, who has mould changing, maintenance on machinery and tool change experience is required by a manufacturing concern. This position is a 3 shift rotation based role (7am - 3pm, 3pm - 11pm, 11pm - 7am) Mon - Fri and the odd Sat if and when required.

This position is NOT suited for Machine Operators! Must have previous or current maintenance experience on machines, physically fixing and replacing parts.

Salary offered: R10 000 – R16 000 pm plus company benefits (7.5% shift allowance, Pension & Med Aid).

Duties (amongst others):
Assisting in achieving a production efficiency of 85% - 90%;
Ensuring that raw material wastage levels are maintained below 1.4% of material used;
Setting machines according to the best practices;
Conducting mould and material changes and trails as required;
Reporting and assisting with machine and mould maintenance requirements;
Ensuring that machinery and moulds are effectively maintained, serviced and stored;
Ensuring top quality products are produced;
Practicing a high standard of housekeeping and safety;
Supervising packers and QC on shift;
Completing all production related paperwork timeously;
Prepared to work overtime when required

Minimum requirements:
Matric certificate is essential;
Technical qualification would be advantageous;
