Job Description
Assisting with breakdowns as required
Do mandatory inspections
Adhere to mechanical regulations and standards
Clean, inspections on equipment and lubrication
Communicate with clients and supervisors on maintenance activities performed and equipment handover
Installation and repairs of equipment and components
Report all defects and breakdowns on equipment and machinery to the foreman
Performing machining tasks on lathe and milling machine
Use the correct tools and spares
Identify different equipment for all sections as per codification
Required to do standby, rotational shifts and be available for call-outs should the need arise.
Work according to the Company's Code of Practice and report any observations of this not being done
Ensure personal and co-workers adherence and compliance to Security and the Company’s SHE objectives
Minimum Requirements
Matric
Trade Test Qualification as Fitter and Turner
National Diploma or relevant tertiary qualification
Around 3 years experience within either the Manufacturing / Construction / Cement Industry
Own transportation and valid drivers licence
