SECT 13 TRADE TESTED FITTER & TURNER (ONLY RSA CITIZENS) + 5 YEARS EXP IN MINING ENVIRONMENT + ABLE TO WORK SHIFTS + VALID DRIVERS LICENCE.

THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE ARE ESSENTIAL:
§ Grade 12/Standard 10
§ National Certificate Engineering Studies N3
§ Section 13 Fitter & Turner Trade Certificate
§ Computer Literacy
y§ 4 to 5 Years Fitter and Turner Experience THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE WOULD BE ADVANTAGEOUS OR OPTIONAL
:§ National Diploma Engineering Studies
§ Machine Shop experience
COMPETENCIES REQUIRED ARE AS FOLLOWS:

ALTHOUGH NOT LIMITED TO, THE INCUMBENT WILL REPORT TO THE SUPERVISOR: MECHANICAL AND THE MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
§ Planned and unplanned maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings relevant and services according to the companies “Best practice
Ӥ Performing and maintaining quality workmanship in the execution of tasks
§ Recording of data required on work orders and feedback of such data to the supervisor
§ Identify possible defects or problems proactively and suggest corrective action
§ Major defects are reported and equipment is either temporarily repaired and booked for major repair at workshop, or taken to workshop immediately
§ Compile work priority list and resource requirements; accurate shift and work order reports; and communicate resource requirements
§ Complete safety, injury, hazard, risk and incident reports; allocated work orders sign-off; job cards and description of work and spares used; role administration requirements completed and communicated; planned maintenance schedules and ad hoc reports
§ Maintain relations with internal customers to ensure departmental needs are met and colleagues are satisfied
§ Provide relevant and specialised technical support to applicable stakeholders
§ Maintaining of integrity, commitment, accountability, respect and excellence towards management, supervisors, co-workers, assistants, and fellow team members
§ Reporting of any incident/accident within the timeframe set out by the Organisation to relevant individuals§ Ensure working area and equipment is clean and safe at all times and in good working condition
§ Ensure and comply with safety standards guidelines, policies and procedures
§ PPE is worn during shift and safety rules and regulations adhered to
§ Declaration of safe working place and oversee housekeeping principles are adhered to.
