Mechanical Fitter and Turner

Requirements:
Must have Matric – must be able to display statement of results
Trade tested Fitter and Turner – must be able to present certificate

Must have knowledge of the following:
All machining processes
Shafts, Gears, Bearings, Tool Parts, Various other metal components,
Materials and Strength of Materials
Pneumatics, Hydraulics
Bearing and Shaft Changing & Lubrication Cycles
Gearboxes
Water Systems & Cooling towers
Basic Electrical Experience
PLC’s
Overall Machining –Milling, Turning, Grinding, Surface Grinding, Drilling (Complex and Simple Parts)
Fabrication, Welding, and Gas Cutting
Machine Building & Project Work
Quality inspection of machined Parts (as per spec / design)
Preventative & Breakdown Maintenance
Fault Finding, and Diagnosis
Routine Services

Salary: Negotiable – Depending experience and qualifications
