BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF PLC, ISOLATIONS
MAIN DUTIES:
Mechanical Maintenance and Repairs
Carry out mechanical maintenance and repairs to equipment in the Upgrade Department
Inspect, perform repairs, install, and service and maintain mechanical equipment
If necessary, isolate faulty areas and shut down faulty area for maintenance and repair
Read and interpret sketches, drawings and blue prints to perform work to specific standards
Maintain routine records and logs of inspections, maintenance repairs and work orders
Perform welding, cutting, soldering and brazing incidental to fitting duties
Perform general clean-ups at job sites
Responsible for own and co-workers safety
Observe and implement proper safety practices
Attend safety meetings
Provide estimate of time, materials and equipment required for assigned tasks and maintain records of work performed and parts used
Report on all equipment defects
Act in the best interest of the company at all times
