Our client in Port Elizabeth requires a Fitter who will report to the team leader, to install, repair and maintain press machinery, conveyors, pumps and general plant equipment to ensure the company quality standards are met.

• Repair and maintain Mechanical and Hydraulic press machinery, Conveyors, pumps and other general plant equipment to ensure customer and company quality standards are met.
• Do preventative maintenance as per maintenance schedule and according to job cards and relevant work instructions.
• Compile feedback on time sheets to ensure accurate repair data and forward to Maintenance Manager.
• Ensure that company procedures, works instruction and quality systems are adhered to at all times.
• Ensure that work practices comply with the company SHEQ procedures and works instruction.

• Press machinery, installation and repair maintenance
• Technical techniques

 Basic understanding of quality systems

• Work with hand tools in safe manner  N2- qualification
• Qualified Fitter and Turner or Millwright
• Press maintenance or wet and dry clutch and brake systems experience
• Rigging
• Pneumatics

Minimum 3 years' experience as Fitter/Millwright with an automotive environment
