3 Yrs' post Apprenticeship exp in sawmilling/ manufacturing enviro. ESSENTIAL.
Solid exp on hydraulic/ pneumatic systems & rolling elements ESSENTIAL
Knowledge + exp working with job card systems.
OHS standards.
Organised & structured to ensure all work is completed as quick as possible.
Good interpersonal + communication skills.
Strong fault finding + root cause analysis skills.
Energetic, optimistic and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Willing to work shifts + standby duties.
Able to function in high pressure production enviro.
Responsible for machining reverse engineering of existing components refurbishing of equipment e.g. hydraulic cylinders, pneumatic cylinders, pumps and valves as well as repair of breakdowns as per job cards.
Responsible for planned maintenance.
Ensuring correct sparesparts are available.
Monitoring of machine operation.
Responsible for safe workshop.
Work closely with the production team.
