Our client requires the services of a Fleet & Assets Controller.

Key performance areas:

? Provide support to Asset Supervisor
? Ensure operation and maintenance of all company assets
? Assist in development and maintenance of asset management plans
? Prepare regular updates on asset management status and performance (Pastel / DocIT)
? Effectively manage asset disposal agreements and disposal of aged assets (reverse logistics)
? Ensure all assets no longer required by site or user is returned to Head Office for distribution
? Ensure Assets are readily available for stock take purposes
? Ensure that all assets are identifiable and record of unique identifying numbers are kept
? Maintain and update asset register by maintaining a database and providing information for regular reports

The successful candidate must have:

? Matric, a relevant qualification would be an advantage
? Must have material, stock or asset control background
? Must be able to work under pressure
? Ability to follow instructions from direct supervisor
? Work timeously and accurately
? Computer literacy (Pastel Evolution would be an advantage)
