JOB SUMMARY
To execute administrational tasks, exercise control and capture the detail of driver’s trips in order to ensure good management of drivers

Key responsibilities and accountabilities

? Completing of incoming and outgoing checklists
? Download truck & trailer combinations that enter the yard according to the combination status
? Filling in the Fleet Control incoming and outgoing register
? Fulfilling the administration duties regarding a driver’s round trip according to procedures
? Report any irregularities as they occur
? General data capturing
? Assist Fleet Control Admin Clerk with admin and data capturing
- Capture data
- Monitor satellite tracking to see where a driver drove unnecessary km’s or went off route
- Urgently respond to and report problems that occur so the minimum reaction time can be assured
? Manage diesel pump and associated paperwork
? Fill-up trucks and trailers when runner is off-duty
? Check diesel book to ensure data is correct and properly filled in
? Capture diesel book data in spreadsheet
? Report any discrepancies to manager/supervisor
? Forward all traffic fines to the EHS Department
? Forward all reports regarding damages to the Workshop;
? Update Manpack program daily
? Update Fuelmanager daily

Requirements:
Grade 12 with 5 years relevant work experience with advance MS Office experience.
Excellent with system management / Effective communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team
Must be able to work under pressure
Own transport (Code 8 License)
