POSITION PURPOSE:
Provide support to the Operations Manager with key responsibility for managing day-to-day trip issues, fleet management and deployment, equipment management and operational activities to ensure the running of successful and profitable trips for all brands.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Sound mechanical knowledge and experience with emphasis on heavy commercial vehicles
Extensive travel experience in the region and a passion for travel
Travel industry work experience, particularly as a Group Leader in the region
Management, coaching / training experience desirable
Excellent communication (verbal & written) in local language & English
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel software
Reliable and responsible, with outstanding organisational and customer service skills

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
To participate in regular office meetings
To travel to destinations within the region if required
Be on call via mobile phone out of office hours
Attend Operations functions outside office hours as required and attend to vehicle breakdowns as and when required
