Position: FLEET (EQUIPMENT) SUPERVISOR
Package: R18000 - R20000 plus benefits and a performance incentive
Area: Cape Town

Our client is a leader in the rental, sale and servicing of Material Handling- and Lifting Equipment. We are currently recruiting for a Fleet (Equipment) Supervisor who will be responsible for the management of the rental fleet in terms of maintenance, breakdowns, safety audits and general operational matters in the workshop.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum Grade 12
• Technical qualification is essential
• Must have Supervisory / Management experience (3 to 5 years)
• Knowledge and experience in Mechanical (Diesel engines), Hydraulics and Electrical is required
• Knowledge and experience of Health and Safety Regulations will be an advantage

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
• Operational prevention: Constantly improve and optimize asset availability and condition, ensure safety of equipment, benchmark quality
standards that need to be maintained, ensure that all snags are logged and repaired.
• Staff Management: Define responsibilities, manage performance output and quality of work, ensure all technical input and manuals are
obtained, identify training programmes in terms of staff development on technical and service standards
• Suppliers and Stock: Ensure optimal stock levels to prevent delayed repairs and maintenance of assets, ensure correct stock procedures are
followed
• Budget Management: Assist in establishing service related budgets and evaluating monthly cost vs budget, Log all damages on system and
ensure billing, report potential warrantee claims, set up SLA’s for maintaining client units.
