Floral Designer and Merchandiser

R20000 – R30000 per month


This role would be reporting to the merchandise manager. The Floral Merchandiser is responsible for planning and selecting a range of products to sell on the site considering customer demand, pricing, quality and availability, market trends, company policy and financial budgets.


Principal Job responsibilities & duties include, but are not limited to the following:
• floral design
• presenting new ranges to management
• manage floral product ranges and carry out regular range reviews
• analysing consumer buying patterns and predicting future trends
• regularly reviewing performance indicators, such as sales, promotions and discount levels
• managing stock levels
• reacting to changes in demand and logistics
• liaise with suppliers and form partnerships to increase turnover to mutual advantage
• maintaining relationships with existing suppliers and sourcing new suppliers for future products
• liaising with other departments within the organisation to ensure projects are completed
• participating in promotional activities
• writing reports and forecasting sales levels
