FMCG Food Stock Control Planner, Northern Suburbs, Cape Town

Well established Food FMCG Manufacturing Company is looking for a Stock Control Planner with 3-5 years’ experience with in the FMCG Industry.

Salary – Market Related / Very Negotiable (CTC includes Medical Aid and Pension)

Minimum Requirements:
• Matric, with A Food/ Production/ Stores/ Logistics related qualification – AN ADDED ADVANTAGE
• 3-5 years’ experience within FMCG/ Logistics/ related industry.
• Experience of FMCG manufacturing – high volume food manufacturing
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Knowledge of food hygiene, Health and Safety requirements in food manufacturing and HR procedures.
• Knowledge of Lead Times, Stock Management, ERP systems.
• Understanding of quality assurance, procedures and protocols.
• Understanding of Restaurant/ Supplier/ Third Party SLA requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure that adequate and suitable staffing is available to execute production plans and despatch requirements
• Drive/ support performance and maximise line outputs that deliver KPI requirements
• Identifying raw material requirements, managing stored raw materials, age of raw materials, release of raw materials to Production and management of raw materials to agreed stock levels.
• Daily compliance with Order Level requirements
• Deliver product quality standards through operations/ maintenance of the Chillers, Maturation, Timeous release of stock and Teams management
• Effective utilisation of labour hours/ rates to maximise efficiencies and KPI’s
• Record and communicate the daily/ weekly variance data information
