FMCG Production Supervisor - Pinetown
Salary – R30 000 CTC
Summary of the Role:
We are currently seeking a competent Production Supervisor that will be responsible and accountable for the full management of all activities within FMCG Production.
Duties:
• Organization of work, training and direct assistance to ensure maximum production output, resulting in a quality product, exceeding customer expectations, while using the minimum amount of resources and eliminate waste
• Manage and communicate with all staff within the factory and follow IR processes with non-compliance of staff members
• Ensuring system is followed and targets are achieved, manage all down times and report to Maintenance department
• Ensuring that all our products meet internal specifications and weights, all deviations to be reported to the Quality department
• Ensuring that hygiene standards, GMP’s and Housekeeping standards are maintained by all employees in all the areas of the Production process.
• Ensuring 100% execution of production plan daily, deviation from the production plan should be communicated to all internal customers and approved by planner.
• Ensuring all components yields are in accordance with standard and report any concerns to Management and Technical department.
• Ensuring adherence to Health and Safety rules, policies and procedures at all times.
• Ensure all stock in departments is managed, daily raw materials are sufficient for daily production, including weekly stock takes.
• Ensuring compliance to food safety systems.
• Training and motivating team members.
• Housekeeping: Maintaining a clean and safe work environment at all times
• Accomplishing production targets by effective delegating, planning, leading and controlling
Requirements:
• Matric
• Relevant qualification in Production management / Operations management
• Minimum 5 years of work experience years’ experience working in an FMCG
• Industry preferably within a food manufacturing environment.
