Our Client a well known Hotel in Pretoria ( Part of a Hotel Group) has a vacancy for an experienced Food and Beverage controller for this busy hotel. The focus will be predominantly on Food and Beverage control and store management but will also include other department inventory, ie Housekeeping and maintenance stores.Oualifications and Requirements
MatricHospitality Management Diploma - preferredPurchasing / Store Control management Certificate / Course - preferredMinimum 2 years’ experience in a stock controlling position in a hotel or hospitality catering environmentComputer Knowledge: MS Office,Easypos, Micros, SS3 and cost of sales System experience (will take preference)
Key deliverables:
Ensure that all the company operating stocks (e.g. Food, Beverage, Cleaning Materials, Stationary etc.) is controlled and accounted for, adhering to the Company’s policies and procedures.Stock takes Kitchen,Bars and other departmentsF&B cost control / Trading summary reports Menu and Wine list costingAdministration reports monthlyPurchasing and placing ordersSupply chain managementGoods recieved and checking in and correct storageStore control
Issuing and receiving data capturing
Duty Management shifts as required
Candidates should be flexable and understand that they will be expected to work long hours per the hospitality industry.
