Description: A company who provides information services and solutions for risk management, compliance and business improvement is seeking a Food Safety Auditor and Consultant to join their team. Key duties include: undertaking detailed evaluations of food premises, procedures and practices against pre-determined standards. Preparation of detailed reports in an accurate and concise manner to formulate findings. Reporting of findings verbally to clients. Leaving an immediate action plan on site prior to leaving the client premises.

Key Requirements: Qualification in environmental health, microbiology or food technology. 2 years industry experience in food safety. HACCP training essential. Previous auditing experience in food safety or lead auditor course attendance an advantage. A valid driver’s license and own transport is required.

Additional Requirements: Ability to analyse numerical data, verbal data and all other sources of information. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Computer literacy and report writing skills. Willingness to travel. A mature, conscientious, service orientated and reliable approach to work is non-negotiable. Customer focused with a high attention to detail. Ability to work with a flexible approach to working hours when required on exception.
Remuneration: Market related.
