Qualification in Food Science and/ Food Technology

Experience in Food manufacturing

HACCP knowledge and Food safety standards.

Job Description:

Process control

Enforcing food safety standards

Conduct raw ingredients test

Quality inspections

Hygiene Assessments

Environmental monitoring

Verifying equipment

Conduct training

Data capturing

Assist in the running of the Micro- Sampling Plan

Experience:

Quality Control: 2 years (Preferred) even as a trainee

Know food safety systems

Manage entire food safety program, establishment, implementation and maintenance
Reporting and closure of corrective actions and non-conformances
Customer complaints
Risk assessments
Micro biological testing and trending
Ensure effectiveness of cleaning and sanitation program
Develop and lead Internal and external audits
Recalls and mock-recalls
Quality Control
Familiar with current legislation regarding food safety
Stay up to date with local, national and international food safety trends
Occupational health and safety
Staff and manager training
HACCP team leader and Food Safety management representative
Record keeping
