Qualifications:
Tertiary degree/diploma in Food Science / Food Technology
Supplementary training in Food Safety systems and HACCP techniques a plus
Minimum 3 years relevant experience
Experience:
Factory auditing experience preferable
Profile:
Excellent communication skills.
Solid analytical, research and computer skills.
ISO 9001 and HACCP knowledge & experience essential
High levels of personal discipline
Good attention to detail in all aspects
Driver’s license essential
Duties:
Maintenance of statutory, public and private certifications for the site.
Manage company Supplier Quality Assurance
Assist Product Development Manager with supplier audits
Responsible for all product quality control checks
Ensuring that appropriate records are kept and maintained at departmental level.
Liason with suppliers on all Technical queries and information requests
Sign off label information in accordance with legislation
Management of customer complaints and trending.
Reporting to management on quality related matters
Liaison with customer technical representatives from corporate clients.
