Education / Qualification
• Grade 12 with a trade

Experience
• 10 years’ experience within a Building/Civil engineering environment, with 2 years at a supervisory level

Requirements
• Sound knowledge of site environments and workflow requirements
• Very sound knowledge of safety procedures
• Sound knowledge of quality control procedures
• Sound technical knowledge associated with site construction requirements
• Sound management skills
• Basic computer literacy
• Some Microsoft Office skills

Key Responsibilities
o Consistently excellent control over all construction productivity
o 100% adherence to all ISO and quality control requirements, policies and procedures
o Total client satisfaction with quality of work delivered
o Ensure all site assets and consumables are carefully and appropriately managed and used
o Keep accurate records of all maintenance and fuel costs
o Ensure all programme updates are accurately filed for quick accessibility
o Ensure all changes to site drawings are updated and available to appropriate staff
o Ensure all site staff clearly understand site instructions
o Consistent compliance with all safety legislation
o Complete all safety inspections and maintain accurate records
o Display all required safety signage
o Ensure the appropriate use of all safety apparel and equipment
o Maintain effective site teams - maintain site teams’ morale, ensure staff receive relevant training, set clear performance standards, ensure all team members are treated equally
