Our Client is seeking an individual that will assist with the Engineer and, or the Employer throughout any dispute resolution processes and claims planning matters.

Qualifications, Competencies and Experience:
• As a minimum educated to degree level
• Dual legally/Disputes trained preferred eg. LLB , MSc or MCIArb
• Minimum 5 Years’ demonstrable experience- Extensive Delay Experience, Claims review and preparation experience and Contract
Administration Experience
• Experience gained on Major International Projects
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills ( English as a Primary Language)
• Excellent skills with MS word, Excel, Powerpoint and Access
• Excellent skills with scheduling software: Primavera ( P3 and P6 onwards) ;MS Projects and Power Project
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as a member of a Team
• Flexibility and demonstrable creative problems solving skills
• Act in a methodical and analytical manner under pressure

Memberships & Associations:
• Professional licensing or Accreditation is desired but not required

Role Specific Skills:
• Provide Contract Administration
• Contract Specialist for and on behalf of the Project Managers and Contracts Management Section

The Forensic Planner responsibilities are:
• Research, fact-find and prepare data to allow quantification of delay; and associated damages and entitlements
• Prepare thorough and methodical delay analysis to determine entitlement to EoT and appropriate financial redress (if any)
• Thoroughly and methodically review Contractors’ Claims and prepare detailed reports that identify the Contractors’ entitlement to an
EoT (if any)
• Assist the Engineer to understand the economic effect and any Contractor entitlement as a result of any EoT (e.g., prolongation,
disruption and etcetera)
• Assist the Engineer and, or the Employer to review and consider Contractors’ delay recovery proposals
• Research, fact-find and prepare robust counter-claims or defences - using recognised Delay
• Analysis methodology - that will be acceptable in dispute resolution forums
• Review Contractor productivity and determine likely causes of delay, whether claimed or not
• Assist the Engineer and, or the Employer in its Change Management Process
• Assist the Engineer and, or the Employer in its Risk Management and assessments
• Review and critique Construction Programmes and their up-dates
• Prepare delay analysis reports
• Assist the Engineer and, or the Employer to meet notification requirements and ensure
• compliance with the contractual provisions
• Assist the research, fact-finding and preparation of detailed reports for submission to
• Alternative Dispute Resolution and litigation (as appropriate)
• Assist with the Project in implementing dispute avoidance techniques
