We are looking for a qualified and experienced Forester to lead and coordinate sectional silvicultural for a company that enjoys world class safety standards. The safety processes are an integrated part of their operations and the successful incumbent will actively participate as a member of a multifunctional team.

Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Contracts Manager, the successful incumbent will be based at the Northern Natal operation and will be responsible for the following duties;
1. Execute and achieve the Annual Plan of Operations for our silvicultural and fire protection activities.
2. Plan and execute the re-establishment program to ensure maximum stocking within silviculture standards is achieved.
3. Plan and carry out timeous weed control operations to achieve maximum yields.
4. Execute Fire Protection Plan and ensure that all resources are ready and available to immediately respond in the event of a fire
5. Adhere to safety standards.

Person Specification
The ideal candidate must be a team player with a focus for attaining results with minimal supervision who in addition should meet the following attributes;
1. Diploma in Forestry as a minimum
2. At least 2 years practical experience
3. Clean driver's license
4. Fluent in speaking Zulu
