FORKLIFT DRIVER

Our Client a leader in the Transport Industry has an opportunity for a qualified and experienced Forklift driver.

Responsibilities:
• Ability to move and stack, load and off-load both empty and full pallets in a safe and orderly manner.
• Completing administration with regard to forklift-truck maintenance.
• Providing a high level of service to customers.
• Performing stand-in duties and assist with stock-takes when required.
• Active involvement in the department’s MDT
• Maintaining housekeeping and safety.
• Ensure that the forklift is in a clean and tidy manner including daily inspection.
Skills and qualifications:
• Valid forklift driver's license (Code F1: counterbalanced lift truck up to rated capacity of 3000 kg)
• At least six months relevant experience, preferably in a Warehouse environment.
• Verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to cope with the inherent physical demands of the position.
• Ability to work under pressure and independently.
• Willingness to work overtime and/or shifts when required.
• Reliable transport to and from work.
