Front/Back-End Developer

Location: Northgate Park, Paarden Eiland, Cape Town
Salary R20k per month negotiable

About the Role:
You will be responsible for the maintenance and updates of our current client websites and will work closely with our Senior Developer on the creation of new websites. You will also work with our online content management team to assist with SEO, content management systems and social media applications.

Requirements:
Minimum 3 years development experience
Strong front-end capabilities and basic technical back-end skills
Proficient in CSS3, HTML5, PHP and JQuery/JavaScript
Must be able to create customised WordPress themes and plugins
An eye for good design
A strong eye for detail, work methodically and accurately
Deliver error-free work within strict deadlines, while balancing speed and quality
Able to prioritise a varied workload
Flexible and able to adapt quickly to new briefs
Able to follow a brief closely and accurately
Ability to multitask
Be able to work independently as well as in a small team
Friendly, positive attitude towards work
Willing to work overtime on the odd occasion
Good language skills

Duties:
Front-end design of new websites and upgrades to current sites (working with art directors)
Development of new websites (themes and plugins) and styling across platforms and browsers (working with Senior Developer)
Testing and deployment of websites
Design, set-up and testing of html emailers
Design, development and implementation of html email signatures
Technical support to internal team and clients
Management of domain registrations and hosting
