Great opportunity for a front-end developer to join a team of talented developers and to assist the delivery and the development of high-quality project for some great eCommerce sites.

Role based in Gardens, Cape Town, would suit a motivated and passionate developer with the potential to develop within the growing front-end team. Working with Magento, Hybris and iCoris eCommerce platforms the front end developer will work with designs and turn them into HTML.


Skills required:

- Good HTML5 and CSS3 skills

- Responsive web design

- Design skills: experience working with PSD files, slicing and sprite sheets

- Cross platform development (tablets, mobiles...)

- Cross-browser compatibility

- W3C & WCAG validation

- Jquery (or transferable library / framework) capabilities and Javascript

- An understanding of the principles of CMS

- Ability to write clean, structured and robust code


Desirable:

- Eexperience working with PHP and JSP

- Experience working with ecommerce websites

- Worked with Magento or Hybris templates

- Have an eye for details

- Online portfolio / examples of work

- Eager to learn and push it's capacities

- Work under pressure / respect deadlines

- Willing and supportive team player
