Opening for Mid-Level Front-End Developer

We are seeking a quirky, shit-hot Mid-level Front End Developer / Web Designer (HTML5 / CSS3) to join a successful web, mobile and systems agency based in Hillcrest, Durban. Expect to work on high volumes of responsive websites.

We are a small agency that has funky vibe with wicked offices in the heart of hillcrest. Coffee is always on tap here and there’s a putting strip for when you need to loosen up! ? We create digital solutions utilising the latest state of the art mobile and web solutions.

Joining an expanding team of digital experts, you will liaise closely with our Creative Director, Web Development Team and Clients with the aim of building stunning, interactive products. Knowing your Front End languages (HTML5 / CSS3) inside out is essential in building clean, well structured and semantic layouts from a designer’s PSD.

To qualify…

You should be a Front End Developer / Web Designer / UI Developer / Front End Web Developer / Web Developer (HTML5 / CSS3) or similar who can demonstrate:

Experience gained within a similar Front End Development / Web Development / Web Design role;
Proficient in HTML5 / CSS3 and JavaScript;
Familiarity with Bootstrap / LESS - You would never consider embarking on a project without these tools to produce your CSS;
Knowledge of version control, GIT;
Knowledge of PHP, Wordpress;
Awareness and understanding of internet standards, best practices and emerging technologies;
Outstanding knowledge/experience of API integration
Outstanding knowledge of animations and transitions to bring a project really to another level under HTML5/Javascript. So UX is key!
Excellent communication and organisation skills;
A passion for the latest digital technologies and trends.

Any prior experience gained within an integrated or digital agency will give you an edge over the rest. Salary negotiable and entirely dependent on experience level!
