A wonderful company in Cape Town are looking for an outstanding Front End Developer who can combine the art of design with the art of programming and who will be responsible for the layout of the company.

Responsibilities
• Be a generally nice person and have fun
• Develop new user-facing features
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
• Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
• Maintain current code and style guide

Requirements:
• Create user interface by using web mark-up including HTML5, CSS3, jQuery &
• JavaScript
• Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS/SASS, Grunt
• and Gulp
• Good understanding of Bootstrap 3
• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
• Proficient Photoshop and Illustrator skills
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around
• them
• Proficient understanding of code version control tools, such as Git and Tortoise Git
• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies
• Proficient knowledge of responsive design techniques for desktop, tablets & mobile with and
• without grid frameworks
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Ability to change directions quickly and to frequently reorder priorities
