Looking for a Front-End Developer in the Pretoria region.

Job Description
• Create user interface/forms by using web mark-up including HTML, CSS, jQuery and JavaScript
• Proficient understanding of client-site scripting and JavaScript frameworks,
• Proficient Photoshop and Illustrator skills or other design programs
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
• Proficient understanding of code version tools, such as Git
• Experience with WordPress and Search Engine Optimisation
• Stay up to date on emerging technologies
• Proficient knowledge of responsive design techniques for desktop, tablets and mobile with and without grid frameworks
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Ability to change directions quickly and too frequently reorder priorities

Responsibilities:
• Develop new user-facing features
• Designing user interfaces and online forms/wizards
• Designing marketing mailers and advertising banners
• Designing marketing collateral
• Maintaining and designing the company website and client zone front end design
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Optimise application for maximum speed and scalability
• Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back end
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
• Maintain current code and style guide

Required education:
• Diploma/Certificate

Required experience:
• Front End Design: 3 years (1-year work experience)
• Javascript: 1 year
• WordPress: 2 years (1-year work experience)
• Web Development: 2 years (1-year experience)
