FRONT END WEB DEVELOPER
My client in Table View (Cape Town), a Web Development company which has been in operation for over 10 years is seeking a Front End Web Developer. They work with clients from Europe and South Africa. They develop custom web applications, e-commerce sites, intranets, Facebook apps and content management systems.
The successful individual will be exposed to a variety of different types of projects varying in scope, nature, size and technology, as well as become part of an exciting and growing development team. Working within a fun yet serious and results driven environment.
They are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, passionate about their work, self-motivated, have strong communication skills as well as the following attributes:
- SOLID experience with HTML5, CSS, SASS, Composer
- SOLID experience in JavaScript/Ajax, J Query
- SOLID experience with one or more of the following: ReactJS, NodeJS, Meteor, Angular
- SOLID experience in Bootstrap Responsive Framework
- SOLID experience in slicing PSD to cross browser, responsive, pixel perfect websites
- Possible experience in Wordpress
- Possible experience with PHP and PHP frameworks
- Must be able to meet tight deadlines
- Must be able to work unsupervised
- Must be honest, reliable and trustworthy
- Ability to work individually or in a team
- Have high attention to detail
- Must have strong communication skills
Duties include the following (but not limited to):
-Slicing websites from PSDs
-Building websites and web applications using a variety of technologies and frameworks
-Cross browser testing on a variety of desktop and mobile devices and operating systems
-System testing and bug fixing
-Communicating with clients, project teams and management
-Supporting existing websites and systems
-Troubleshooting
Salary:
Will be dependent on your credentials, skillset and experience. (R15 000.00– R25 000.00)
