We are looking for a vibrant and energetic front of house manager/ assistant function coordinator to join our team

Responsibilities:
? Reservations
? Check-in and check-out of guests
? Invoicing & Payments
? Guest liaison & Guest managing
? Switchboard
? Ensuring guest satisfaction & handling complaints
? Oversee rooms division & staff responsibilities
? Supervision of dinner service
? General Admin
? Aid in marketing duties
? Monthly newsletter editing & circulation
? Aid in function coordinating & function operations (conferences, events, weddings)
? Meeting with potential clients & venue viewings
? Supervision & coordination of service staff during functions
? On-the-day operations control during functions & weddings
? Assisting the General Manager in daily duties

Requirements:
? Computer Literate – MS Excel, MS Word, Photoshop (not essential)
? Experience in Nightsbridge or similar booking operations system will be beneficial
? Fluent in English & Afrikaans –written and verbal
? Well-presented and excellent communication skills
? Accurate and customer orientated
? Passion for service excellence & the hospitality industry essential
? Hospitality qualification
? Must have 2-3 years experience in accommodation/function sector of the hospitality industry
? Previous food preparation experience will be beneficial
? Strong administrative skills
? Good organizational skills
? Creative mindset
? Team Player
? Must be able to work under pressure
? Own transport, valid driver license
? Must be willing to work long hours, public holidays and weekends as required by the industry
? Live in position – possible shared accommodation
