Front of House
Introduction

Our client is looking for a well- presented Front of House, for a prestigious 4 Star Boutique Hotel. Manage and co-ordinate front desk department to provide efficient, prompt, courteous, trouble free and proactive service to guests: hence maximize rooms revenue and guest satisfaction.
Description
Behavioural Competency

Previous experience in Management in the hotel industry, preferably 5 Star
Excellent customer/client services experience
A stable track record
Able to work shifts, (including weekends and public holidays)
Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
High levels of motivation and enthusiasm
Duties include the following, but not limited to:

Manage and coordinate guest relations to provide the highest standard of service
Reporting into the General Manager
Take complete ownership of the hotel
Managing of staff which includes housekeeping, waitrons, security, kitchen (staff compliment of 13)
Check in and out of guests, book restaurants, tours, transfers, taxis etc
Help plan itineraries for guests
Check that rooms are 100 %
Breakfasts run smoothly and assist
To report and where possible take action for any guest or client complaint or compliments
Assist with group arrivals
Assist with site inspections when required
Effective communication with all relevant departments or guests with regards to special requests either via email, telephonically or fax
Human Resources Management
Staff training and control
Laws, Regulations and Policies
Security, Health and Safety
Requirements:

Grade 12 or equivalent
Exceptional attention to detail
Clear communication skill – must speak English fluently
Ability to use, MS Word and Excel skills
Is fully conversant with the hotel reservation system (Hotelier)
Able to work shifts, (including weekends and public holidays)
