A minimum of Grade 12 is essential and a tertiary qualification in hospitalitymanagement is desirable. The successful applicant will have at least 4yearsbroad based hospitality experience and 2 years Front Officemanagement experience.DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND PERFORMANCE STANDARDS• Knowledgeable in Front Office Management, Micros and Opera• Interpersonal and communication skills are essential• Attention to detail, analytical thinking, problem solving and timemanagement are essential• The Front Office Manager is responsible for the management, operationand the staffing of the following functions: Reception, Switch board,Porterage and Concierge• Ensures that all reports associated with the department are accurateand produced on time• Fully familiarized with all hotel and company policies• Forms part of the Duty Managers team• Responsible for certain Sales and Marketing related functions within thedepartment• Is responsible for the effective operation of all Hotel systems pertainingto the operationof the Front Office• Directly responsible for “O” status• Accountable for implementation, adherenceand management of allapplicable guest satisfaction mechanisms focusing on going service andproduct improvement resulting in guest loyalty• Forms part of Executive Duty Management team• Complete Duty manager checklist and White Glove room checklistsInterested candidates must please send their CV via email.
