Front Office / Reservations Manager
Luxury Conference Resort Hotel - Maria Moroka - Game Reserve - Free State
The Front Office Manager is responsible for the full Reservations Department of the Hotel including Individual and Group & Convention business.
Requirements :
Hospitality Management qualification
4 years Reservations & Front Office Management experience in Hotels required.
Strong leadership skills required.
Excellent Guest Relations & Staff Relations skills required.
Excellent communication skills needed.
Duties
Managing the Reservations team as to ensure that employees follow policies and procedures.
Schedule employees, monitor attendance records, do training and review employee performance.
Supervising & assisting with co-ordination of group & convention reservations.
Correspond with travel agents and companies regarding negotiated rates.
Responsible for yield management & updating availability and rates on external booking engines.
Furnishing all relevant clients with quotes, confirmations, contracts & invoices where required within 3 hours.
Responsible for follow ups on these, so as to ensure payments are received on or before their due dates.
Salary R 14 000 - R 15 000 including accommodation with company benefits.
