The Job
We are in the process of a major overhaul of our front end web application and are looking for a senior front end web developer to help us build it.
We work with a UX/Design firm who assist in building specifications. These specifications come out in the form of wireframes and illustrator designs. The developer would need to build the application based on design and wireframes provided UX firm.
Well documented (Swagger) RESTful APIs will be provided. The developer will work closely with our API team to spec these APIs.
We are open to working remotely however it would be preferable to find a Johannesburg based developer.
The skills
• 5+ years working in javascript, html and CSS
• Experience building systems with Test Driven Development (TDD)
• Ability to take design and wireframes provide by UX firm and author professional CSS, HTML and Javascript to bring it to life
• Experience using Webpack or other node build systems
• Experience building CSS frameworks is a plus
• Strong understanding of React javascript library
• Experience with Redux state management library is a plus
• Must be self-motivated and committed to building professional, world class applications
