Job Purpose:
The Frontline Receptionist will co-ordinate switchboard activities, achieve continuity and quality service in the reception area . The
individual will perform general administrative duties for internal and external clients.
Key Performance Areas will include, but not restricted to the following duties:
• Answer all incoming calls without delay (within 3 rings)
• Transfer calls to relevant departments
• Assist walk-in clients at reception
• Document payments for client accounts
• Assist with stock retrieval
• Document returns and replacements for walk-in customers
• Trace client’ account numbers to resolve queries
• Assist clients with their appointments
• Responsible for cash-ups for daily cash sales and process weekly cash up figures on Excel spreadsheet
• Daily sorting and distribution of faxes
• Ordering & controlling the distribution of stationery, housekeeping products and hygiene services
• Contacting couriers and/or speed services for deliveries and collections
• Processing parcels for couriering
• Filing of documentation
Candidate Requirements:
• 2-3 years Reception and Admin experience in the role
• Non Smoker
• Excellent telephone etiquette (English speaking with Afrikaans 2nd language)
• Experience in customer service environment
• Good email, communication and writing skills
• Intermediate computer literacy skills on MS Word packages
• Experience with organizing social events / functions advantage
