Retail Outlet Supervisor

Overall responsibility for the maintenance and co-ordination of Cold Store Division (Where appropriate), incorporating City Deep Retail Operations:
Safety; Health; Environment; Quality Management Systems, Food Safety, pest control, risk and loss control and end to end WH operations with emphasis on delivery to people, process, finance and customer results achievement.

Responsible for the daily operations of the City Deep Cold Store/Heriotdale Division including:

1. Raw materials ordering and call off
2. Inbound Receiving operations
3. End to end cold store processes
4. Daily/weekly/monthly planning
5. Outbound dispatch
6. Cold Store
7. Inventory stock control
8. Maintenance – End to end, company property, assets furniture and fixtures and other
9. Site risk and loss control processes, incorporating cash controls, inventory accuracy and management systems, item counts, stock takes and
related, end to end OSHACT requirements, incorporating PPE, H/S and all related, as well as basic people and operational shrinkage, security
checks and balances such as security company checks and balances, initiatives, alarm and panic button tests to ensure site security
10. Site services including laundry, waste removal, forklift/pallet jack services, security company systems and people management as well as
site cleaning.
11. Finance management, budget and cost control adherence in order to contribute to the growth and profitability of Merlog Foods through sound
finance and business compliance and adherence.
12. To manage the company’s quality systems, such that Cold Store teams in all areas of the City Deep business are transparently accountable
for their part in contributing to the acquisition and / or retention of accreditation such as R962,HACCP, ISO22000, OHSAS , and any other
standard the company engages.
13. People management - End to end sound people process management, inclusive of staff welfare, staff discipline, reward and recognition,
OSHACT/PPE, external labour broker and other people management requirements

Summary-

Directly accountable for the entire end to end management,
leadership of our City Deep facility, with emphasis on basic people, process, finance and customer processes.
