Fundraiser/Stakeholder Relationship Manager
Johannesburg based Non-Profit Organisation focusing on Enterprise Development is looking to grow its staff compliment to increase it services of providing analytical data for business development support to SMEs.
This position is critical to the growth and sustainability of the organisation and will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with donors and funders, identifying and purposely engaging with potential donors to raise funds to financially support the organisations activities.
The position is also responsible for marketing and communications, including brand building, social media, media liaison, and all stakeholder engagements.
Qualifications
• Demonstrated fundraising skills, including the ability to identify opportunities and implement innovative solutions
• An advanced degree in communication, marketing, management, or other relevant field
• Extensive marketing experience - 5 yrs+
• Business development experience
• Experience in proactively engaging with external audiences including giving oral presentations and representing organisations to key stakeholders
• Excellent diplomatic and communication skills and an ability to work and communicate effectively with a broad spectrum of individuals, such as donors, business leaders, government, investors, etc.
• Experience in digital communication channels and developing and implementing online strategies for engagement and fundraising
• Proven success in developing and executing branding and communications strategies
• Excellent report writing, analytical and communication skills, including oral presentation skills
• Excellent interpersonal, management and negotiation skills
• Strong story-telling skills and the ability to communicate messaging effectively
• A strong team player who will thrive within an evolving environment
• Advanced knowledge of the MS Office package
• Strong work ethic
• Must be a South African national with fluency in English and one local indigenous South African
• language;
• Should be in possession of a valid South African driver’s license and be willing to travel substantially.
